Osun Deputy Gov Charges Online Media Practitioners On Developmental Reports
The Deputy Governor of Osun State, Mr. Benedict Alabi Olugboyega on Thursday charged Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN) in the state to use their profession in promoting the state.
The deputy governor made this charge while receiving OMPAN members who were on a courtesy visit to his office at the Bola Ige house Abere.
Addressing the online practitioners, Mr, Benedict stressed the need for the OMPAN to put the interest of the state first and always write developmental reports about the state.
He further urged them to always verify information before making it available to the public.
“Our government is working hard to improve the living standard of Osun people by making social amenities available,” he said.
The acting coordinator of OMPAN Osun Chapter, Mr. Adesoji Omosebi appreciated the efforts of the deputy governor saying despite unscheduled appointment, Mr. Alabi warmly welcomed the online practitioners to his office.
